Would you like to learn Tibetan so you can read your sadhana in its original language?  Dr. Kurt J. Schwalbe has developed a method for teaching anyone to read Classical Tibetan in only 15 to 20 classes. Classical Tibetan is different from modern spoken Tibetan but it comes to be very valuable to many practitioners. With a little work, you will be able to read and translate the Tibetan writing in your practice text by the time the classes end.

Kurt has been teaching classical Tibetan language since 1974 in both the USA and India.  This March he will teach a course in Classical Tibetan at Thosamling Institute in Dharamsala, HP, India. He has been the Instructor of Classical Tibetan at Deer Park Institute in Bir, HP, India since 2008.

At Kurt’s request, all of his fees will be donated to the Sakya Society to support the teachings and retreat center of Her Eminence Sakya Jetsun Chimey Luding Rinpoche.
