Mind Training meditation, or Lojong as it is called in the Tibetan language, involves methods for transforming the mind by cultivating beneficial mental habits. Khenpo Pema will give instructions and guide retreatants in the performance of the meditation.
The meditation retreat is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced meditators, and there are no prerequisites. The six training sessions begin at 7:00 AM and end at 6:15 PM. Breakfast and lunch are served, and there are regular tea breaks.
The retreat will include instruction on Sojong, one-day vows that help put the teachings into practice.
It is not necessary to attend all of the sessions to receive the benefits of the practice. Participants who work or have other obligations are welcome to attend part-time.

Date Program Begins: Saturday, October 19 at 2:00 PM, Orientation (It is important to attend the orientation to receive introductions, instructions, and the retreat schedule, especially if you are attending part-time.)
Date Retreat Ends: Friday, October 25 at 12 noon (followed by lunch)
Retreat Fee, including meals: $200 full-time; $150 part-time.
